Privacy policy

This policy explains how Nil Manel Tourist Resort (“we”, “us”), Kamkaru Mawatha, Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, handles personal information you share with us through this website, by phone or on WhatsApp. We follow Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, and treat your information with the same care as our guests.

What we collect

• Booking requests: your name, email, phone number, travel dates, number of guests, room preference, arrival time and any notes you add.
• Messages: your name, contact details and the content of your message.
• Job applications: your name, contact details, location, availability and the experience you describe.
• At check-in: photo identification for each adult guest, as required for registration.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

• To reply to your request, confirm your booking and prepare for your arrival.
• To arrange services you ask for, such as airport transfers or car hire.
• To assess job applications.
• To meet our legal obligations as an accommodation provider.

We never sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that help us run this website and reply to you: our website host (Cloudflare), the email service that delivers form messages to us and sends your confirmation, and WhatsApp if you choose to contact us there. If you book through a third party such as Booking.com or Agoda, their own privacy policies also apply. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking correspondence for as long as needed to manage your stay and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and job applications for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp on 077 756 1970, or use our contact form.
