What should I wear to visit the temples?
Cover your shoulders and knees, and wear white or light clothing if you can. You will remove your shoes and hats at sacred sites, so bring socks for hot stone paths at midday. Our team is happy to give you local tips before you set off.
How long do I need in Anuradhapura?
Most visitors spend two nights, which gives one full day for the Sacred City and time for Mihintale. Three nights lets you go slower, cycle between the ruins and visit at the best light in the morning and late afternoon.
